Junior pairs championships set for exciting finals

All set for a championship pairs showdown Three Junior Championships pairs finals are set to be played tomorrow against a backdrop that reflects the excitement and intensity of the section games held in Bundaberg today (Friday, 10 April).
Showing bowls professionalism beyond their young years, the juniors played impressive games during the sections today to determine who will face off against each other in the boys and girls under 18 pairs and the under 15 combined pairs at Burnett Bowls Club, starting tomorrow morning.
Section one winners Justin Cribbin and Dale McWhinney-Shillington (under 18 boys), Jessica Srisambuybai & Brittanny Wiley (under 18 girls) and Sean Gillis & Nick Cahill (under 15 combined), automatically gained a place in their finals after posting victories today.
The winners of section two will take on the section three victors in the morning for a chance to compete in the afternoon finals.
This will see Zac Adams and Liam Stephan take on Beau Gent and Kalib Morgan (pictured) in the under 18 boys, Sophie Young and Michaela Bailey-Nelson against Rebecca Rixon and Connie-Leigh Rixon in the under 18 girls, and Ben Jones & Ty Jesberg compete against Jessie Cottell and Jake Rynne in the under 15 combined post section games.
