It was an all-Queensland AO final today in the Men’s Pairs, Robbie Wild (Pine Rivers) and Sean Baker (Hamilton) defeating Braidan Leese (Coolangatta) and Sam White (Paradise Point). Queensland has dominated the PAIRS at the Australian Open 2015, with an all-Queensland final in both the Men’s and Women’s showcase events.
Queeensland rep Robbie Wild, 25, and former Australian rep Sean Baker, 30, today hoisted the Pairs trophy.

Tomorrow at 11am, Emma Brown and Noelene Dutton (Kawana) will take on Jackie McWhinney-Shillington (Burleigh Heads) and Maria Rigby (Bramble Bay) LIVE in front of the Fox Sports cameras.

Runners up in today’s Men’s Pairs were former Queeensland junior champs Braidan Leese, 19, and Sam White, 23.
Experience won the day, with both Wild and Baker having previous form playing in front of the cameras.
It was the first AO final for both pairs.
