The National Club 5 a Side (September 5 – 8) leaderboard is in stiff competition at Helensvale this year with Broadbeach being the only Queensland team left with a chance to make it into the final four.
In 9th place South Tweed Sharks are hanging on with 31 points and a margin of 13, with hotshots Kelvin Kerkow, Barrie Lester and Steve Halmai working with Nigel smith and Neville Jenkins to make headway.
Broadbeach are four places ahead of the sharks, with the bulls working hard in 5th place to push into the top four with holding a margin of 48 shots and sitting on 40 points just one point ahead of 6th place Raymond Terrace on 39 points.
The competition is being dominated at the moment by the Warilla Gorillas who are on top of the leaderboard with 49 points and a margin 121.
