Multi-Bowl is back!

Disability Sports Australia have announced the full dates and location of the Lawn Bowls Multi-Disability National Championships (Multi-Bowl) with this year’s competition being hosted May 21 to 26, at the Raymond Terrace Bowling Club in NSW.
The competition will see the best bowlers with a physical disability Australia has to offer, the field will feature bowlers with a different range of physical disabilities including paraplegia, quadriplegia, polio, leg amputee, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis.
Bowlers are classified according to their level of ability and functionality which comes into effect for international competition.
Classification provides the opportunity for bowlers to compete against bowlers with a similar disability or level of functionality.
Disability Sports Australia has also announced the locations of the 2018 & 2019 Multi-Bowl competitions with Kardinya Bowling Club in WA holding the 2018 event and Souths Suburban Bowls Club in Mackay hosting in 2019.
Dates will be confirmed for 2018 and 2019 at a later date, additional information on the 2017 Multi-Bowl National Championships and entry packs will be released by mid-February 2017.
