by jgrey on March 17, 2020

Following the release from Bowls Australia earlier today, the Board of Bowls Queensland has decided to suspend any State events held over the next two-week period. During this time we will monitor the situation and advice from QLD Health and the Australian Government in regard to future State events.

It is the responsibility of each club regarding events held at their club, it is the clubs responsibility to run their events which should be in accordance with the recommendations of the State and National Health Departments.

Bowls Queensland is continually monitoring the status of COVID-19 and will act in accordance with the guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Australian Federal Government and the Queensland Government.

Government organisations, public health units and the World Health Organisation (WHO) continue to provide accurate, timely and detailed updates relevant to the whole community.

Bowls Queensland will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide regular updates over the coming weeks.
