It indicates that gatherings of up to 20 people in non-contact indoor and outdoor community sports activity and community sports clubs will be permitted as of this afternoon.

More than 20 will be possible subject to submitting a COVID SAFE Industry Plan. Bowls Queensland along with QSport and QLD Sport & Rec have submitted a COVID SAFE Industry Plan for approval by the QLD Chief Health Officer with a response anticipated very soon.

We have also been liaising with Clubs QLD and OLGR on how these numbers relate to the inside of the club with a COVID SAFE Industry Plan also submitted to the CHO through Clubs QLD for the inside operations of clubs.

Discussions are ongoing with Sport & Rec, Clubs QLD and health officials, clubs will be advised further as soon as possible.
