Congratulations to all section winners who played superb bowls in the QLD Junior State Championships Open U18 and U15 Pairs at North Toowoomba Bowls Club today.

Open U18 and U15 Pairs Results – Monday 18 January

U18 Section Winners

• Section 1: Olivia Rothwell & Caysee Wilson 6+36
• Section 2: Ty Jesberg & Shane Rideout 6+66
• Section 3: Oliver Corken & Ashlee Knight 6+29
• Section 4: Jake Rynne & Kane Nelson 6+51

U15 Section Winners

• Section 1: Marley & Zedd Peters 6+21
• Section 2: Riley Bernard & Travis Pearce 6+28
• Section 3: Sophie Allan & Samuel Collier 4+44

Semi Final

• Riley Bernard & Travis Pearce defeated Sophie Allan & Samuel Collier 17-11

Tomorrow, Tuesday 19 January – 8:30am will kick off with the U15 Open Pairs Gold Medal Play Off: Marley & Zedd Peters vs Riley Bernard & Travis Pearce.

Also at 8:30am, the U18 Open Pairs Semi Finals will be played, followed by Gold and Bronze Medal matches:

• Olivia Rothwell & Caysee Wilson vs Ty Jesberg & Shane Rideout
• Oliver Corken & Ashlee Knight vs Section 4: Jake Rynne & Kane Nelson

The Open Fours Final will follow the U18 Pairs Finals, with Ashlee Knight, Chloe Runge, Caleb Bowles, John Hammond taking on Caysee Wilson, Ty Jesberg, Kane Nelson & Jake Rynne.
