Atherton Mt Baldy Classic

Atherton Bowls Club hosted their annual two-day Mt Baldy Classic Men’s Fours on March 13-14 with 56 players from the Tablelands and Far North Qld. Volunteer club members worked hard before and during the weekend to make it a successful, yearly fundraising event.
The winning team was Russell Hubbard, John Phillips, Denis Skinner and Mick Frese; second Ettore Tiraboschi, Barry Lynne, Victor Tiraboschi and Elio Crema and coming in third was Col Rowbotham, Gavin Johnson, Jack Lanham and Gary Kriesel.
The success of this major event is made possible by local sponsorship from John Cole Toyota, Barron Valley Hotel, Guilfoyle Funeral Services and Atherton Trophies and Engravings. The Atherton Bowls Club wishes to thank all the sponsors for their generous support.
