Jindalee Bowls Club helps Inala Youth Services
By John Wright
Jindalee Bowls Club held the MAXIMA Cup event to raise funds for The Hut Inala Youth Service in Brisbane. A donation of $850 was accepted by Vice President – Michael Robinson.
Early intervention is an effective, proactive approach to mitigating antisocial behaviour in the community. Staff at The Hut identify the needs of young people and offer them access to programs that could help them.
Sixteen teams of bowlers from Jindalee and the surrounding area competed in three rounds of bowls that concluded with a raffle to raise the funds.
Thank you to our generous sponsors Maxima Disability Employment and Premier Funerals, club and sponsor volunteers, plus a special thank you to Jindalee’s Brian Hampson for organising the event.
