State Fours – Day 1 Results
The women’s fours today was moved from Broadbeach Bowls Club to Paradise Point Bowls Club (under cover), with the men playing at Paradise Point and Helensvale Bowls Clubs (outdoors) today after Broadbeach Bowls Club had to close their greens. It’s been over a week of consistent rain.
Consequently, the women’s fours played knockout today instead of sectional play, followed by the quarter finals brought forward from tomorrow (Sunday).

The following teams are through to the semi final which will be held at Broadbeach (at this stage) on Monday.
The men played their sectional games today and eight teams will play a post sectional game tomorrow, with the winners progressing to the quarter final (around lunchtime tomorrow). The men’s semi final and final will go ahead as scheduled on Monday at Broadbeach (at this stage). We will assess whether the men can play at Broadbeach tomorrow, or whether the games will move to another club. We will announce any venue changes tomorrow morning on our Facebook page.
