State District Sides Day 1
Day 1 of the Bowls Queensland State District Sides is complete with three rounds contested.
The Downs and Gold Coast Tweed are tied at the top of the Women’s ladder after winning all three games with a margin of 51 shots each, Tropical Far North Queensland are the only other undefeated team with a margin of 38.
In the Men’s event, six teams are undefeated with Gold Coast Tweed leading with a margin of +137, closely ahead of Sunshine Coast Alpha +128, Brisbane +124, Moreton Bay +98, Downs +86 and Gateway +58.
Another three rounds will be played tomorrow at host clubs Coolum Beach, Club Maroochy, Club Kawana and Tewantin Noosa. Thank you to event sponsors Sunshine Coast Council and Australian Secure Capital Fund for their support of this event.
