Queensland Teams Announced for the Australian Under 18 Championships
Bowls Queensland have pleasure in announcing the players to represent Queensland in the Australian Under 18 Championships in Perth during October.
This event will be held at the Sorrento Beach Bowling Club on the 6th & 7th of October 2023. Played under a 5-a-Side format, each player will contest two disciplines.
Our girls team claimed their overall trophy last year with Queensland being awarded the best performed overall State which included the boys’ team who finished third.
Bowls Queensland Selection Co-ordinator Christina Pavlov has been pleased with the players progress this year, “I have been impressed with the many achievements of our junior players this year at club, district, state and national level, and given the talent we have in this current cohort I am sure this team will go well in the U18 championships”.
Well done to Lacey Gerick, Riley Gerick and Hayden Leslie who will play in their first Australian Under 18 Championships.
