Day 2 of “The Nationals” at Club Tweed and Broadbeach is complete with the first medals determined in the Australian Under 18 Championships. Find draws and results HERE

Chloe Stewart and Jacob Nelson are both leading their sections in the Australian Champion of Champion Singles after four rounds, with three rounds left to play tomorrow at Club Tweed. Find draws and results HERE

The Para Nationals was abandoned for the day during round two due to a deluge of rain at Broadbeach. They continue sectional play tomorrow. Find draws and results HERE

Congratulations to our Australian Under 18 Medalists:

Lilly Vardy: Silver in the Girls Singles

Makayla Gainsford, Mia Haylock, Logan Hughes together with NSW’s Shakiya Murray: Silver in the Girls Fours

Brody Carter, Todd Brain & Trent Brehmer: Silver in the Boys Triples

Rhys Gillman & Riley Gerick: Bronze in the Boys Pairs

The end of the last round of sectional play was hampered due to the rain setting in at Tweed, the Medal Rounds were moved into the iconic Club Tweed indoor complex.

Tomorrow the Under 18’s will play reverse disciplines at Club Tweed: Girls Pairs & Triples and Boys Singles & Fours, three games of sectional play followed by medal rounds, all medal presentations will follow tomorrow night.

Following these events will be the Australian Senior Sides (Over 60) from 12-15 October, Australian Sides from 17-20 October and the Australian Championships from 21-25 October.
