Hoskins & Bonnell Win Gold!

Louise Hoskins and Serena Bonnell have defended their title by winning back to back Para National Women’s Open Pairs at Broadbeach. After trailing 7-9, the pair won the last three ends to defeat Anette Ruffle & Alison East from Victoria 14-9 in the final to claim Gold.

Unfortunately, we had many Queenslanders lose in their respective semi finals today including Annette Goldsworthy & Cheryl Lindfield (Women’s Open Pairs); Brett Sellars (Men’s B5/6 Singles); Wes Brown & Clive Williams (Open Pairs); Brett Sellars & Tony Bonnell (Men’s 14 Point Pairs) and Cooper Whitestyles in Men’s B7/8 Singles Quarter Final.

All remaining Para Nationals events are down to the pointy end with semi finals and medal rounds on the final day at Broadbeach tomorrow.
