QLD Women Claim Silver at Australian Senior Sides
With both the women’s and men’s team right in the hunt up until the last round, unfortunately they both succumbed to New South Wales this morning. Victoria won their last round to win the title.
Sitting second on the ladder heading into the last round, the women’s team hung onto claim silver by two rink points over NSW.
Our men were third heading into the last round and ended up third behind NSW in second with South Australia going through undefeated to win Gold. NSW claimed the overall best State for the Championships.
Congratulations to Adele Pershouse and Greg Rolls who were awarded the QLD Players of the Series.
