QLD Under 18 Triples Champions Crowned
Cooper Sutton, Tilah Mason and Jack Hayward have won their maidan Queensland Under 18 Open Triples title after defeating Taylor Baart, Euan Ironside and Phoebie Russell in the final.
Sutton, Mason and Hayward jumped out of the blocks going out to a 9-0 lead after 4 ends in the final at Club Helensvale. They then kept a similar lead for most of the game, Russell’s team managed to get within four at one stage before Hayward’s rink pulled away to win by 7 shots.
Ashlin Johnson, Madysen Parkinson and Logan Hughes got the better of Damon Bartholomeusz, Mitch Hagan and Ben Hagan to take home the Bronze.
