Farewell Brett Wilkie
Bowls Queensland acknowledges the outstanding contribution of CEO Brett Wilkie, who has announced his departure after more than nine years of dedicated service. Brett joined Bowls Queensland in September 2016 and has played a central role in guiding the organisation through a period of meaningful growth and development.
Throughout his tenure, Brett has demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism and a genuine passion for the sport. His efforts have supported the strengthening of lawn bowls across Queensland, helping build connections within the statewide community and contributing to a positive direction for the organisation.
Brett’s influence has extended across all levels of Bowls Queensland. His commitment to both the sport and its people has helped shape a supportive and collaborative culture that will continue to benefit bowlers, volunteers and clubs into the future.
While the Board and Staff are pleased to see Brett take on his new role as General Manager of Club Helensvale, he will be greatly missed. His steady presence, thoughtful leadership and dedication to the bowls community have left a lasting impact.
Bowls Queensland extends its sincere thanks to Brett for his exceptional service and wishes him every success as he begins this next chapter in his career.
