Bowls Queensland has today announced a new three year partnership with TGI Sport and Puma, confirming the global sportswear brand as the organisation’s preferred apparel provider.

The agreement marks a significant step forward for Bowls Queensland as it continues a broader overhaul of its representative and commercial frameworks. The move is designed to modernise the look, feel and performance standards of Queensland’s state teams and staff, while strengthening commercial alignment and brand presence across the sport.

Under the partnership, Puma will supply high quality, performance driven apparel for Bowls Queensland’s representative teams, officials and staff. The focus will be on modern design, comfort and functionality, ensuring Queensland athletes are equipped with apparel that reflects the high performance standards expected when representing the state.

Max Goldsmith, Account Manager at TGI Sport/Puma, said the team was proud to begin the journey with Bowls Queensland.

“The team here at TGI Sport/Puma is incredibly excited to partner with Bowls Queensland as preferred apparel provider for the next 3 years. We are looking forward to working alongside the BQ team to bring high quality, modern and comfortable apparel to the representative teams and staff that represent the mighty state of QLD.

This partnership allows us to continue to showcase our innovation, design expertise and performance-driven apparel at the highest levels in addition to servicing the supportive and passionate clubs that are the core of the ongoing success and growth of bowls across the state.”

Bowls Queensland CEO Fletcher Dyson said the partnership is part of a much larger strategic reset currently underway within the organisation.

“This partnership is about more than apparel. It forms part of the bigger picture that Bowls Queensland is undertaking as we review and strengthen our representative and commercial frameworks,” Fletcher said.

“Representing Queensland should mean something special. It should reflect high performance standards, professionalism and pride in wearing the mighty maroon. Our partnership with TGI Sport and Puma is an important step in reinstating those values and ensuring our athletes and staff feel that sense of honour every time they pull on the Queensland uniform.”

Fletcher added that aligning with a globally recognised brand reinforces the organisation’s commitment to growth and modernisation.

“We are focused on building an environment where excellence is expected and supported. This agreement helps us set a new benchmark for how our teams present themselves on the national stage and how we position Queensland bowls moving forward.”

The new apparel range will be rolled out across representative programs and official capacities in the coming months. Members can expect a refreshed visual identity that reflects the pride and tradition of Queensland bowls, while embracing a contemporary sporting aesthetic.

This partnership underscores Bowls Queensland’s commitment to innovation, commercial sustainability and high performance standards. With TGI Sport and Puma on board, the next chapter for Queensland bowls is already taking shape.
