NIC FISHER & IMAGE PROPERTY to Sponsor 2022 $50,000 QLD State Championships
Bowls Queensland is pleased to welcome back Nic Fisher and Image Property as a sponsor of the 2022 State Championships Men’s and Women’s Triples and Mixed Pairs competitions. Nic and Image Property return for their second year sponsoring these prestigious events and Bowls Queensland thank them for their ongoing support.

This sport embodies the true meaning of community, camaraderie and welcomes people of all ages and all abilities, a true team game. Best of luck to all the competitors, I cannot wait to see what this year brings,” Nic Fisher said. “It’s not just a great event, it’s Crackerjack!” he added.
Featuring $50,000 prize money across 11 events, these championships will be held on the Gold Coast on May 9-22, 2022. Entries close on Monday 21 March.
Broadbeach Bowls Club will host the finals of each event and every day of the championships will be live streamed on the Bowls Queensland website and Facebook page.
BQ CEO Brett Wilkie is delighted that Nic Fisher and Image Property were returning to sponsor two of BQ’s key events. “It was great to have Nic and Image Property on board last year and fantastic to see them back sponsoring the Mixed Pairs and Men’s and Women’s Triples, we thank them for their continued support,” Brett said.
Bowls Queensland would also like to thank Broadbeach Bowls Club and Major Events Gold Coast for their support of this event to be held in the region.
These championships have been the showcase event for bowls in QLD since 1904 in the men and 1931 in the women. Winners of all events (except Over 60 pairs) will advance to the Australian Championships which will also be held at Broadbeach in October 2022.

The 2022 District Sides Championships will be held at the Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach, Musgrave Hill and Paradise Point Bowls Clubs from May 4-7, 2022.
