As part of the Bowls Queensland transition to BowlsLink each District is required to nominate a person to be the District BowlsLink Administrator.
These people will be provided with training and support by Bowls Australia BowlsLink Staff along with Club Support Managers and Bowls Queensland staff.
This role is a volunteer position and would suit someone who has a sound understanding of information technology, using online systems and video conferencing.
Responsibilities would include
- Developing a strong knowledge base around BowlsLink
- Providing support to the District and clubs within the District
- Being an advocate for the use of BowlsLink with how it can assist clubs
- Providing a point of contact for Bowls Australia and Bowls Qld for BowlsLink including providing feedback and escalating issues to BowlsLink staff
The first BowlsLink training session will on Wednesday 25th September at 6.30pm online, the session will run for around an hour. Details including the link to attend will be provided a few days prior.
