HENSELITE to Sponsor 2022 $50,000 QLD State Championships
Bowls Queensland is pleased to welcome Henselite as a sponsor of the 2022 State Championships Men’s and Women’s Singles and Fours competitions. Henselite is a long-term supporter of Bowls Queensland and now show their support for these blue-ribbon events on the Bowls Queensland calendar.
“Henselite are thrilled to continue our relationship with Bowls Queensland by sponsoring the prestigious State Singles and Fours events,” John Newell, Henselite’s QLD Business Development Manager said.
Featuring $50,000 prize money across 11 events, these championships will be held on the Gold Coast on May 9-22, 2022. Entries close on Monday 21 March.
Broadbeach Bowls Club will host the finals of each event and every day of the championships will be live streamed on the Bowls Queensland website and Facebook page.
BQ CEO Brett Wilkie said he was very happy that Henselite was sponsoring two of BQ’s key events.
“I am looking forward to having Henselite as a sponsor for the Men’s and Women’s Singles and Fours 2022 State Championships and thank them for their continued support,” Brett said.
Bowls Queensland would also like to thank Broadbeach Bowls Club and Major Events Gold Coast for their support of this event to be held in the region.
These championships have been the showcase event for bowls in QLD since 1904 in the men and 1931 in the women. Winners of all events (except Over 60 pairs) will advance to the Australian Championships which will also be held at Broadbeach in October 2022.

The 2022 District Sides Championships will be held at the Broadbeach, Mermaid Beach, Musgrave Hill and Paradise Point Bowls Clubs from May 4-7, 2022.
