Six sectional rounds are now complete with the ladders starting to spread out.
Gateway men dominated again in their three rounds today to remain undefeated on top of the ladder with a margin of 246. Two other teams are also undefeated with last years Division 1 winners Gold Coast Tweed in second with +223 and North Queensland in third +196. Mackay round out the top four with five wins and a draw.
In the Women’s competition Gold Coast Tweed Blue (+241) and defending champions Cunningham (+112) survived as the only undefeated teams to top the table. Four teams sit one win behind with Bundaberg +149, Brisbane +131, Mackay +123 and Gold Coast Tweed Gold +65.
The final three sectional rounds will be played tomorrow at host clubs Club Helensvale, Paradise Point, Broadbeach and Club Musgrave. Following the completion of sectional rounds tomorrow afternoon, each of the 20 Women’s and Men’s teams will be broken up into five divisions of four teams to battle out the Finals Series on Saturday: Division 1 and 2 at Broadbeach; Division 3 at Club Musgrave; Division 4 at Club Helensvale and Division 5 at Paradise Point.
