ADF Triumph in ANZAC Test Series Victory
The Australian Defence Force Lawn Bowls team has secured its first ANZAC Test Series win since 2015, defeating Bowls Queensland’s President’s XII in a thrilling contest at Capalaba Sports Club.
After comfortably winning the first test, the ADF mounted a dramatic comeback in the second test, overcoming a 15-shot deficit to clinch a 67-62 victory — sealing the series 2-0. ADFLB President CPO Phil Black delivered the standout moment, removing two bowls with a precision drive to swing the momentum.
Although Queensland responded with a strong 65-37 win in the third test, the ADF had already sealed the series — their second triumph in the ten-year history of the event.
Thanks to Bowls Gold Coast Tweed for their excellent live coverage and to Capalaba Sports Club for their continued hospitality.
