Congratulations to North Mackay’s Marie Bragg, Christine Hall, Michele Stockton and Nuggy Pratt who have defeated Suburban Townsville’sKate Leverton, Lee Shears, Dealia Walsh (sub) and Wendy Jones 31-8 to win the women’s title.
Congratulations to Red Hill’s Troy Lorimer, Stephen Hayden, Greg Rolls and Ben Walsh who won the men’s event after defeating Broadbeach’s Mitchell Mears, Bradley Lawson, Jarryd Davies and Nick Cahill 23-8 in the gold medal match.
Well done to Suburban Townsville and Broadbeach on reaching the finals and taking home Silver.
Tansey’s Cheryl Lorkin, Beck Payne, Aymee Bellert and Dianne Reed won the battle for Bronze in the women’s event 21-17 over West Toowoomba’s Denise Parkinson, Heather Brownie, Marlene Hannant and Julia Brownie.
North Toowoomba’s Andrew Batterham, Mark Algate, Steven MacNamee and Hayden Vogler took out Bronze in the men’s event 20-13 over Pialba’s Brody Carter, Brendan Wrice, Mark Armstrong and Nic Gosley.
